3. Social media presence

In compliance with Articles 13 to 24.2 of the European Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), the Data Controller informs users that it has created a profile on the following Social Media Networks (SMNs):

with the main purpose of advertising our services and contacting other users.

If you, as a User, have a profile on the same Social Network as our entity, you may freely join the page created by us, thus showing interest in the information we publish on that Network.
By joining, you grant us visibility of certain personal data publicly offered by you on your profile.

Only in the event that you join our page on the listed Social Networks, will your profile data be processed by our entity solely within the Social Network itself and, under no circumstances, will they be processed by us outside of it without your prior consent.

As a user, you can always access the privacy policies of the Social Network itself, as well as configure your profile to ensure the privacy of any data you do not wish to make public. You may also unfollow us at any time.

4. Posts

Once you have joined our page and if you deem it appropriate, you may post comments, links, images, photographs, or any other type of multimedia content supported by the Social Network. Please be reminded that, in all cases, you must be the owner of these materials, hold the copyright and intellectual property rights, or have the consent of the third parties affected.

Any posts on the page, whether texts, graphics, photographs, videos, etc., related to minors, or those that attack or are likely to attack honor, morals, ethics, good taste, decorum, or violate intellectual or industrial property rights, the right to image, or any other law, are strictly prohibited. In such cases, our entity reserves the right to immediately remove the content and may request the permanent blocking of the user.

Our entity will not be held responsible for the content freely posted by a user. The user must be aware that their posts will be seen by other users and, therefore, will be solely responsible for their posts and privacy.

5. Advertising

Our entity may use the Social Network for advertising purposes, in any case, complying with the requirements of the applicable Data Protection regulations and the LSSI-CE.

Recommending our pages to other users so they can also enjoy promotions or stay informed about events or activities of our entity will not be considered advertising.

6. Contests and Promotions

Our entity reserves the right to hold contests and promotions, in which users who wish to participate and are joined to our page may take part. The terms and conditions of each contest or promotion, when using the Social Network platform, will be published on the same platform, always in compliance with the applicable laws or regulations.

The Social Network does not sponsor, endorse, or administer our promotions in any way, nor is it associated with any of them.

7. Personal data

As the Data Controller, our entity will carry out the following actions:
• Access to the public information of the user’s profile.
• Responding to user requests.
• Sending individual messages to the user through the Social Network channels.
• Posting information related to our entity on the user’s profile.
• Updates to the page status will be published on the user’s profile.

The user may unfollow our entity on social media at any time, manage their connections, delete content that no longer interests them, and restrict who they share their connections with. To do so, they should access their privacy settings.

8. Your rights

You have the right to know whether our entity is processing your personal data; therefore, you have the right to access your data, correct it if it is inaccurate, or request its deletion when the data is no longer necessary, provided it is legally possible.

You can also exercise your right to object, limit, or request data portability if you deem it appropriate. You may also revoke your consent, and to exercise your rights, you should do so in writing to admin@asvitae.com. If acting on behalf of another person, you must provide proof of such representation. If there are reasonable doubts regarding the identity of the person making the request, we may ask for additional information to confirm their identity.
