Description
Configuration and control can be performed from a mobile phone or tablet using the free CASAMBI app (available for iOS and Android). Once configured, the networks operate autonomously. Remote control of the installation is possible through the Casambi cloud via a device running the Casambi app with an Internet connection, enabled as a gateway.
Operation
The communication range between control nodes is up to 200 m (Long Range Optimum Net) or 300 m (Long Range Max.), outdoors and with no obstacles.
Nodes must be added to the network individually using a mobile phone or tablet within the communication range of each unit. For subsequent configuration and commissioning of all nodes in the installation, it is sufficient to be within range of just one of them. Since it is a mesh network, the nodes communicate with one another until the information reaches its intended node, even if it is located far away.
